Reports to: Finance and Administrative Manager
The Role:
- Financial Management:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including cash flow planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Execute full sets of accounts, ensuring timely month-end closures and adherence to Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
- Monitor the company's cash flow position and assist in managing debt collections.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial and tax reports, including VAT and withholding tax reconciliation.
- Support year-end statutory audits and tax computations by preparing necessary documentation.
- Apply analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies independently.
- Administrative Support:
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including answering calls, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Oversee office supply management and procurement, ensuring efficient office operations.
- Handle employee claims processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Assist in the preparation of expense reports, invoices, and tax documents, ensuring proper filing and documentation.
- Support visitor management, booking arrangements, and maintaining company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain an organized filing system for both financial and administrative documents.
- Manage leases, property-related matters, and associated contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local employment laws.
- Assist with the review of legal documents and support negotiations as necessary.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Finance and Administrative Manager to ensure alignment of financial and administrative functions with company objectives.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders to maintain compliance and uphold company standards.
- Must be a team player and communicate well with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Thai national.
- Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred.
- Possession of an accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, or a local equivalent for Thailand is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of related working experience in accountancy and tax.
- Preferred background from audit firms, both multinational and local, and experience working in accounting roles for multinational oil, gas, petrochemical/energy, industrial-related companies, or logistics companies.
- Strong understanding of Financial Reporting Standards and taxation requirements.
- Proficient in writing and speaking English and Thai.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with SAP experience being a plus.
- Must be a team player, communicate well, and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
