The Role:
Financial Management:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including cash flow planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and statutory requirements.
- Manage key financial metrics such as cash flow and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Handle employee claims processing and ensure timely disbursement.
- Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow position and debt collection processes.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, and other external parties to ensure compliance and support audits.
- Manage tax matters, including filing, compliance, and liaison with tax authorities.
- Supervise and support the Senior Accounts Executive in executing full sets of accounts, ensuring timely month-end closures, and tax reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Office Management:
- Supervise daily office operations, including procurement, vendor management, and facility maintenance.
- Manage leases, property-related matters, and associated contracts.
- Oversee the management of company documents, both online and physical, ensuring proper filing and easy access.
- Assist with the review of legal documents and support negotiations as necessary.
- Manage and update the employee handbook, ensuring it aligns with local employment laws and company policies.
- Oversee the administrative support team to ensure all administrative tasks are handled efficiently, including office supplies management, visitor management, and booking arrangements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead a team of finance and administrative staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster collaboration with Group Finance and Corporate Services at HQ to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
- Work closely with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders to maintain compliance and uphold company standards.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between the finance and administrative teams to optimize office and financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred.
- Must possess an accounting qualification such as CPA/CA and maintain a valid CPD license.
- Preferred background from audit firms, both multinational and local, and experience working in accounting roles for multinational oil, gas, petrochemical/energy, industrial-related companies, or logistics companies.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in finance, office management, and tax.
- Strong understanding of local Financial Reporting Standards and taxation requirements.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently while showcasing strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking capabilities.
- Possesses excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
- Proficient in writing and speaking English and Thai.
